Many of our friends will know our passion for cars and motorbikes and, more recently, our acquisition of a couple of three-wheeler kit cars.  They're both Blackjacks and they both have three wheels but that's pretty much where the similarity ends.  

Sandy's yellow Blackjack Avion has a 602cc Citroen 2CV engine and most of the controls from a 2CV including the funny gearstick on the dashboard.  The French love it and seem delighted that Les Anglais have customised their favourite car.  We're even members of a French 2CV club where the main activity seems to be driving in a line (about 20 cars) to village fairs and waving French flags and hooting our horns, all with the police's permission, and finally doing a circuit of the village, parking up and receiving a glass of wine from the mayor as a reward for coming along as a group.

Pete's silver Blackjack Zero is very different.  Originally fitted with a Volkswagen 1800cc engine, Pete replaced this with a Moto Guzzi 850cc engine as he's a Guzzi fan.  It's fast and has zippy acceleration and brilliant handling.  You can't just go round a roundabout once, you have go continue several times getting faster and faster and enjoying the G-force!!
