What a carry-on!  Our family and friends will know this was done at short notice, as we had rented our UK house, so it was all hands to the pump for the packing and clearing in order to meet the deadlines.  Well, thank you to everyone who helped (Linda, Robin, Barbara, etc..... You are stars!) and we hardly paused for breath before we had to drive to the port and catch our ferry and hope that we overtook the removal van somewhere in France and got to our new home before they did!

We are STILL unpacking.  Boxes and boxes of stuff in the loft!  Some of those boxes had been sitting in Epsom from our previous move and have never been opened ... Goodness knows what's in them!

But when we got to Rabanel on that first evening, before the removal van, we pulled up two plastic garden chairs in front of the fire and opened a bottle of wine to celebrate.
